| The Story Behind Turner Tags™

| Sunthings Charming was created when a science teacher turned stay at home mom to a newborn, stumbled across some old science supplies. The science teacher, Lauren Turner, sifted through her science supplies and came across the UV Detecting beads and became inspired. Knowing the harmful effects of the sun’s UV rays, the new mother took an old piece of rawhide string and attached the beads to her diaper bag.

| A few months later the other mothers in Lauren’s mommy group noticed the beads and asked about them. She explained that when the beads turn color, it was time to put a hat and sunscreen on her infant. The women in her group were amazed by this invention and asked if Lauren would make them each one of their very own.

| That night Lauren Turner looked at her tattered piece of rawhide and beads and an idea formed. The very next day she went to her local arts and crafts store and bought a plethora of beads, looking for the perfect way to stylize her tag of beads. After a few days of tinkering and playing, Turner Tags™ were born.
